for Our Older Girls
Thanks to Pope Francis and Kasisi Foundation, our teenage
girls will have a new, beautiful home. It is family style
building with two large bedrooms, sitting room and the kitchen.
With the help of one adult our girls will get prepared to live
independent life in the future.
As per Holy Father’s request the
house will be called The House of Mercy.
In August, we received a sad message from Friends of Kasisi in
Japan informing us that our faithful and trusted Friend, Prof.
Tsutsumi passed away.
Prof. Tsutsumi worked in Lusaka
as a lecturer at the University of Zambia. This was the time he
started helping us in every way he could. After returning to
Japan, he spread the news about our home among thousands of
Japanese people, especially students. He had sent several
volunteers who have helped us greatly in many different areas.
Prof. Tsustumi will always
remain in our hearts and our prayers. We are grateful to God for
sending us such a great person who thought us and many other
people that true love knows no borders or distance or race.
We are sharing this loss with
the wife of Prof. Tsutsumi and we assure her of our prayers and
deep gratitude for the gift of his life and service."
